NishPad enables seamless shared housing within walking distance from your work or school. We match you with compatible housemates. Our mission is to help young professionals to live where they call home. 

Employed:

  • Form W-2, or an Employment Offer Letter if recently hired within last 3 months
  • Paystubs: 2 most recent
  • Photo ID: state license or passport only

In case you can’t provide an Employment Offer Letter, a recent one-month bank statement can be submitted as a supporting document.

Self employed:

  • Recent tax returns: 1040
  • Photo ID: state license or passport only
  • Proof of business
  • Recent one-month bank statement

An additional month of move in fee may be required (between 1.5 to 2 months)

Contractor: 

  • IRS documents: 1099 or 1040 only
  • Paystubs: 2 most recent
  • Photo ID: state license or passport only
  • Recent one-month bank statement

An additional move in fee may be required (between 1.5 to 2 months)

International employee:

  • Form W-2, or an Employment Offer Letter if recently hired within last 3 months
  • Work permit
  • Paystubs: 2 most recent
  • Photo ID: state license or passport only
  • IRS documents if employed for more than a year (1099 or 1040 only)

In case you can’t provide an Employment Offer Letter, a recent one-month bank statement can be submitted as a supporting document.

Student:

  • Photo ID: state license or passport only
  • 2 months security deposit
  • Student visa/permit if international student

If you do not have credit or cannot meet the required score, a co-signer must apply, sign the lease, and meet the Onerent Standard Qualification.

Co-signer:

May either be employed, self-employed, a contractor, or an international employee. Refer to the categories above for their respective requirements.

Yes, in order to assure safety of our tenants, we run criminal background check for all applicants.

Most of our apartments are gender specific but we can accommodate your request depending on our available inventory and your housemates’ preference.  

Yes! The faster you submit your application the better chances of securing the room. 

Yes, you can! Our roommate matching program algorithm uses the responses from the lifestyle questions in the housing application to match like-minded roommates. Our mission is to maximize the potential for successful roommate relationships.

Utility costs are not included in the listed price for each room.

We are pet restricted communities but there are some exceptions under Federal and State laws.

All of our apartments are smoke free. Smoking is not allowed in NishPad residences.

You will be able to login to member portal to pay rent and utility.
